A few of my favorites...

James and I spent yesterday in Hilton Head visiting one of my best friends, Lisa, her new adorable baby boy Adam, and Lisa's awesome parents.  We just hung out most of the day catching up, snuggling sweet Adam and taking pictures.  It was a pretty perfect day!   I miss them already....

Here are a few of my favorites...

Car Heaven...

Masking tape + 10 minutes of set-up = Hours of car fun!
James is in heaven....

Pure Joy!

Georgia Garden

We got our garden tilled, filled and planted last weekend.  I've been watching it grow this week...slowly, hoping my seeds will sprout and I won't have to buy the plants :)  I got this smart idea off Pinterest to mark each plant with corks on a skewer...pretty cute!  After a year off, I'm really looking forward to having a garden again, and now that James is a little older he can help me weed or play in the sprinkler while I work!

tomatoes: cherry and heirloom
green beans
zucchini, yellow squash and butternut squash
brussel sprouts
spinach
beets
jalapeno
basil, rosemary, dill, thyme, & sage

Melts my heart....

Inseparable.  Where Steven goes, James follows.  They don't just sit on the couch together...they seriously snuggle :)  Pure joy when his daddy is near.  James watches by the window for Steven to come home from work, and when he drives up James runs to the door (sometimes out the door) screaming "DADDY!!" with a serious hug and kiss to follow.  Attached at the hip...Steven now knows what it feels like to never have a moment alone...even in the bathroom!  hahaa!  His daddy must be the one to tuck him into bed, and when he wakes us up in the morning, he grabs Steven by the hand, pulls him out of bed, and says "Daddy, play police cars downstairs, Daddy!!"   It's a good thing Steven is just as smitten :)
Melts my heart, I love these boys so much!

Little Mower

It's been in the mid 70's for the last week or two here in Savannah which has quickly greened the grass, and it was in need of a trim!  Steven pulled out the mower and James followed suit.  He "mowed" right along his dad the entire time Steven cut the back yard...I'm guessing James did about 10 laps or so!  He was so focused, it was quite adorable :)

Big Helper

Each time I get out the vacuum or mop, James runs to the cleaning closet to grab his!  He loves to help his mommy, and with my aching back, I'll take all the help I can get!  Hide and Seek in the pantry closet is another favorite game we play.  He also prefers to be 'pants free' and I let him...sometimes :)
