At 2:00pm on this hot, Wednesday afternoon, the soldiers Bravo Co, 3-69 AR, 1BCT all marched into the Newman Gym at Ft. Stewart. After a brief speech, the Marne & Army song, and a prayer, they were released to see their families.
Joy, tears, relief, answered prayers.
Steven was in the very front of the formation, so we found him right away. As soon as they were released, James sprinted to his daddy and ran into his arms! He also held his daughter for the first time! Couldn't hold back the tears.
